The day we went to Sammie and Kailey's birthday party my mom and Ted came over. We were chatting at the table and my mom was showing me her new Guess sunglasses. Very cool and trendy...for sure!
She took them off and showed them to me. Then, she began telling me about how she uses her glasses to cover the bags under her eyes. OMG!!!! They were GINORMOUS!!!!!!
I already have what she calls puppet mouth. These big giant lines that run down from the corners of your mouth down to your chin - just like a puppet. Since I already have the puppet mouth I know the eye bags are not far behind. They are starting with deep dark circles under my eyes. I went on the internet to do some investigative research. Actually, what I thought were innocent dark circles are actually the shadow from the bags under my eyes.
I am trying to grow old as gracefully as possible. Using natural ways to try to keep the age at bay. My mom told me some of her hints to hide the bags. Get large framed, tinted glasses. Camouflage. Actually, it works because I have never noticed the bags until now.
So, with the camouflage strategy in my back pocket I am also going to try some natural remedies. One thing that keeps coming up in my research is cold packs. I found these cool eye pads with gel in them that you put in the fridge. They are cool because they have little eye holes in them so you can watch TV or play computer games while you wear them. How cool are these???? Jamie is mortified I am showing this photo. He said, man you will share anything!!! Yes, I guess I will.
A few minutes later Jamie said, Debbie - I love you. Maybe that is why I feel safe to share anything. I have someone who loves me just the way I am....
Unfortunately, people with the bag-problem can't hide forever under sunglasses. Try other options as well - cold bags may take a longer process while surgery would take a few moments! And you could try changing the color of the pack so it doesn't look too freaky.
